It's easy, take the train from Holyhead to Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch and then past Llanfairfechan and Penmaenmawr and you're there.

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch The longest town name in the world means "The church of St. Mary in the hollow of white hazel ...

Although I couldn't believe that this name exists I googled it up ...

You should visit Wales sometime, you'll be surprised at what it has to offer .... some great mountains for a start.

Most countries go on about their mountains but not the Welsh. No. They ignore the mountains and talk about the valleys. I always thought that peculiar. I suppose its because they mostly live in the valleys.

One thing that struck me when I visited was the amazing numbers of Red Kites about. They were as common as Jackdaws here. A beautiful sight. Apparently they were almost extinct so they sent in the Gurkhas to guard the nests and eggs. It is sad to think that it took such measures but it worked wonders.

Wales is truly a beautiful country and well worth a visit. To take in a Christy gig as well wouldn't be a half-bad idea either. Wink
