From here you may download a number of low-fidelity amateur recordings of Christy gigs, which will hopefully grow in number over time. Before downloading anything please note that the rules are:

1. GET THE LIVE ALBUMS FIRST. No amateur recording can possibly compare with the magnificence of the three official Live albums. If you're a recent convert to the master's live performances, you simply must get those albums first. They are oh-so-much better than anything here.

2. THEY ARE NOT FOR SALE. Sounds obvious, but one reason for offering this free service is to discourage commercial bootlegging, something Christy is known to abhor. This service is provided on a wholly non-commercial basis - by fans for fans. Anyone found trying to sell or otherwise profit from these recordings will be permanently banned from 4711ers.org.

3. QUALITY NOTE. These recordings are typically made via microphones located within the audience area, and as such are full of all the coughs, clapping and other extraneous noises you get at live shows. For some these are an essential part of the live experience, for others they harm it. The recordings are digitally 'cleaned up' as much as possible, and are then downgraded to MP3 quality for this website.

4. WANNA HELP?. Efforts are being made to record all current Christy shows for posterity.
